Where the world began
Clothing treated as evidence recovered from damaged broadcasts / concrete textures and spaces where the speakers were turned up way too high.
STATIC SAINT explores what happens when a garment is allowed to carry proof of contact. Fading, abrasion, raw edges, exposed construction, and stretched proportions are information.
The storefront was designed to be editorial campaign-like, that happens to function as a store. It has a glowing campaign hero, a transmission-style marquee, collage-based collection storytelling, monochrome product grids, and a variant-aware gallery for pieces that have constructions that photograph differently.
Every collection name, product concept, campaign line, and Shopify surface was invented for this portfolio build. The brand is fictional. The design discipline is not.
Three states of damage
Dead Channel hides the body. Soft Riot tells the surface to wear away. Afterimage pulls the silhouette apart.
The collections are not unrelated. They form a progression in how each garment is disrupted. It progresses from concealment to erosion, then reconstruction, so the brand can contain a range without becoming visually incoherent.
Across twelve products, the catalog moves from blackout utility and coded seams into washed mesh and bruised knit, then into raw indigo tailoring deliberately "unresolved."

Three drops and one damaged wardrobe system.
Each drop received its own concept board, material language, product set, and role inside the STATIC SAINT progression.
Dead Channel
Blackout utility, coded seams, exaggerated volume, and signal-faded denim. Dead Channel removes the color until construction becomes the graphic — protective weight that turns the body into something difficult to read.

Signal Fade Denim — Jeans. Wide stacked leg with an uneven dark-to-faded wash.
Blackout Crown Hoodie — Hoodie / Outerwear. Sculptural peaked hood and anonymous upper silhouette.
Dead Air Cargo — Cargo Pant. Oversized utility storage with a low, corrupted stance.
Trace-Line Tee — T-Shirt. Washed black tee mapped with pale contrast seams.
Soft Riot
Washed gray, bruised knit, translucent mesh, and softness worn past perfection. Soft Riot lives in quieter frequencies of damage — silhouettes loose enough to feel lived in, never pristine, never shouting.

Static Dust Mesh — Mesh Long Sleeve. One product, two constructions: Speckled and Wrapped.
Washout Hoodie — Hoodie. Elongated oversized body with distressed graphite wash.
Bruise Knit — Sweater. Relaxed knit marked by thinning, ruptures, and soft edges.
Dirt Fade Jean — Jeans. Low-slung wide denim washed through nearly-gray frequencies.
Afterimage
Raw tailoring, displaced panels, wrapped layers, and silhouettes left deliberately unresolved. Afterimage begins where the original shape stops making sense — not the source, but the shape the source left behind.

Define the signal
Interference, material memory, and unresolved silhouettes set the brand premise before a single product page was created.
Build the drops
Concealment, erosion, and reconstruction gave the catalog a narrative reason to move from blackout into washed gray into raw rebuild.
Name the evidence
Twelve garments received system-log product names, construction notes, and collection-specific visual language.
Shape the transmission
Shopify was the shell for the commercial mechanics while editorial composition, marquee motion, and collage storytelling formed the atmosphere.

The point is to look unresolved, to an extent.
Homepage structure moves from a glowing campaign hero into a signal marquee, drop editorial, featured products, collection archive, and manifesto.
Soft Riot's Static Dust Mesh is one Shopify product with two constructions — Speckled Mesh and Wrapped Mesh — so the gallery can filter media by selected silhouette.

What the project left with me
An ecommerce experience can lean hard into editorial worldbuilding without losing the core mechanics of shopping.
STATIC SAINT became a study in how far a Shopify fashion concept can push atmosphere (glowing hero, collage drops, transmission copy, configurable imagery) while remaining a usable catalog with clear collections, variants, and paths to purchase.
Damage, wear, and unfinished construction are not costume. Treated as design information, they can present a brand world from concept board to product page.
